CardSpace

CardSpace is a new authentication system created by Microsoft. With CardSpace, you don't have to enter your username and password, and you are more protected from phishing and other password-grabbing scams.

CardSpace Requirements

• You must be running Windows Vista (or have specificially installed CardSpace) for CardSpace to work.
• Firefox users must download an extension to use CardSpace.
• If CardSpace is correctly installed, a CardSpace sign-in box will appear on the sign-in screen.

Setting up CardSpace

• If you are signed in, click "Sign Out" in the upper right corner of the page to sign out
• Go to the sign in screen by clicking the "Sign In" link in the upper right corner of the page
• In the CardSpace box, click "Sign In". If the CardSpace box does not appear, your system is not compatible with CardSpace.
• Click "Accept"
• Enter a name for your new card, such as "WS Network"
• Click "Send"
• Enter your WS Network username and password, or click on "Create an Account" and enter your desired username and password

Managing Cards

• Use Account Settings to manage your linked cards.
